The importance of adhering to the slot allocation process during the Olympics

As you are ACL has been trialing over the past weeks the DFS flight plan matching system that is needed to be in use over the coordinated period of the Olympics, 21st of July 2012 – 15th of August 2012, inclusive, at all coordinated airports.

It has become apparent that there currently exists anomalies , which if corrected could improve the performance of the flight plan matching system and so reduce the number of potential warnings that may be generated.

To aid all in improving the performance of the System, a short list of corrective actions has been attached below, along with providing some clarity to the importance of the adherence to the slot allocation process.
